About the role
Join the Food & Nutrition team to provide high-quality food service to patients, staff, visitors, and employees.
Requirements
At least 2 years of high school education with basic reading, writing, and communication skills. Cash register/POS experience is desirable.
Responsibilities
- Greet patients, visitors, and staff warmly.
- Handle phone inquiries professionally.
- Prepare and stock food stations according to inventory needs.
- Portion food items following menus and standards.
- Operate POS/cash register accurately and handle money properly.
- Calculate totals and prepare daily register reports.
- Clean dishware and sanitize kitchen equipment.
- Transport food carts safely and efficiently.
- Collect and dispose of trash.
- Maintain sanitation of pots, pans, and utensils.
Additional duties may be assigned as needed.
Pay
Pay ranges from $17.47 to $24.26/hour, based on experience. This role is part of a collective bargaining agreement.
