Nursing- Unit Manager
About the role
Lead and support nursing care delivery for an assigned unit or clinical area. Oversee the full nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation) in alignment with state Nurse Practice Act standards. Partner with interdisciplinary teams to promote resident-centered care, regulatory compliance, and positive outcomes. Coach, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote growth, accountability, and excellence. Ensure nursing systems, workflows, and procedures are implemented effectively. Serve as a key point of communication for residents, families, and care teams.
Leadership & Supervision
Supervise CNAs and nursing staff with a focus on education, support, and consistency. Participate in interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and training of nursing staff. Monitor performance, provide coaching, and address corrective actions when needed. Assist with staffing coordination, including coverage for absences.

Qualifications
- Active Nurse license (RN/LPN) in the state of Michigan
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred
- Minimum 2 years Nursing experience, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role
- Strong communication, organization, and leadership skills
- A team-first mindset with a passion for mentoring others
