About the Role
The Nurse Supervisor oversees staffing, patient assignments, and clinical operations in a 24-hour care setting. They act as a clinical resource for patients, families, and staff, ensure compliance with policies and standards, and provide direct patient care when necessary.
Responsibilities
- Supervise staff allocation based on patient needs
- Act as a clinical resource for patients, families, and staff
- Participate in recruitment, onboarding, and staff education
- Mentor team members
- Ensure compliance with policies and standards
- Act as a liaison between staff and management
- Contribute to performance improvement initiatives
- Oversee supply management
- Act in the absence of the Nurse Manager
Requirements
- Nursing degree from an accredited school
- Current NY RN license
- CPR certification
- At least three years of clinical experience

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing
- Supervisory experience
