Nursing Supervisor RN Registered Nurse

About the role

As Nursing Supervisor, you will supervise and coordinate the activities of the nursing team to provide patient care, serving as a resource and point person for communication, education, and clarification of policies, procedures, and standards relating to nursing practice and care.

Responsibilities

• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in daily interactions with guests, their families, and visitors, fostering a positive, healthy environment for healing and thriving.
• Instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues.
• Perform duties of a nurse and other routine accommodative services for patient comfort and well-being, as needed, including IV therapy, administering tube feedings, and chest tubes.
• Supervise the nursing team, including giving direction and assignments, offering training, and contributing to recognition and evaluations.

Requirements

• Graduate from an accredited school of nursing with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Michigan Registered Nurse (RN) license and CPR-BLS certification.
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to complex problems concerning well-being.
• Excellent customer service skills with a commitment to delivering excellent, passionate, and innovative care.
• Team player dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.

Pay

Negotiable wages based on years of certification and experience, with yearly wage increases.

Schedule

Midnights / Overnight Shift (full-time position).
