Position Overview
As an LPN Nursing Supervisor, you will provide clinical leadership and oversight of nursing care during your assigned shift while helping ensure residents receive safe, responsive, and compassionate care. This is an important leadership position within our nursing department and an excellent opportunity for an experienced LPN who is ready to take the next step in their nursing career.
Responsibilities
- Oversee nursing care provided throughout the facility during your assigned shift
- Supervise nursing personnel on each unit
- Provide leadership, guidance, and support to nursing staff
- Help ensure the health, safety, comfort, and well-being of residents
- Respond promptly to resident requests, needs, and concerns
- Promote consistent, high-quality nursing practices
- Collaborate with members of the interdisciplinary care team
- Serve a positive environment centered on resident dignity, respect, and quality of life
- Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Nursing Services
Qualifications
- Possession of a state license in applicable state you are performing work and current registration to practice as a Registered Professional Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse
- Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience and at least one (1) year of experience in a nursing leadership role
- Interest or experience in geriatrics
- Current BLS/CPR
- Experience with dementia population desirable
