This is a part-time Nursing Station Technician role working 8-hour evening/night shifts with rotating weekends.
Responsibilities
- Join a 22-bed Cardiac/Respiratory Intermediate Care Unit to provide direct patient care and administrative support
- Assist with patient hygiene, vitals, repositioning, transportation, and feeding
- Manage unit desk functions including answering phones, processing admissions/discharges, transcribing orders, and assembling charts
- Maintain patient rooms and stock supplies
Requirements
- BLS certification required; ability to obtain BLS if participating in OnTrack program
- Successful completion of relevant nursing assistant training or six months of recent direct care experience
- Enrollment in an LPN, RN, or Nurse Practitioner program with clinical rotation completed
- Current Minnesota Nursing Assistant Registry certification (alternative qualification)
Preferred Experience
- Previous roles as a Nursing Assistant or Health Unit Coordinator
