Nursing Staffing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing schedule to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Perform various clerical duties using excellent organizational skills.
• Work closely with nursing leaders to identify staffing improvements.
• Assist and advise supervisors with any issues related to the nursing schedule.
• Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and regulatory standards for employee/contract/student files.
• Coordinate and distribute nursing schedules to staff in a timely manner.
• Advise supervisors on staffing ratio problems.
• Draft professional and appropriate letters, emails, reports, and presentations.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee personal and financial data.

Qualifications

• A high school education or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling within a hospital setting is preferred.
