Nursing Staffing Coordinator

Responsibilities

• Manage the nursing schedule to ensure exceptional patient care.
• Perform various clerical duties using excellent organizational skills.
• Work closely with nursing leaders to identify staffing improvements.
• Assist and advise supervisors on scheduling issues and staffing ratios.
• Coordinate educational opportunities for nursing staff.
• Draft professional and appropriate letters, emails, reports, and presentations.
• Maintain confidentiality of employee personal and financial data.

Requirements

• A high school education or equivalent.
• Previous experience in staffing or scheduling within a hospital setting preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
• Knowledge of Joint Commission and regulatory standards.
