About the role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing leadership contributing to the advancement of patient care and nursing scholarship within the School of Nursing. This individual will become a valued faculty member of the Division of Nursing Science. Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with scholarly achievements including funded research and publication record, as well as other relevant professional experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership contributing to the advancement of patient care and nursing scholarship within the School of Nursing.
- Become a valued faculty member of the Division of Nursing Science.
- Salary and academic rank will be commensurate with scholarly achievements including funded research and publication record, as well as other relevant professional experience.
- Work closely with Center for Health Equity and Systems Research (CHESR).
Requirements
- Expertise and commitment to advance nursing science through research, teaching excellence, advisement and mentorship of PhD students, and potentially undergraduates and DNP students.
- Visionary scientists who will make solid contributions to the academic life of the School.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching and mentorship of undergraduate and graduate students.
- Skill at grant writing as evidence by securing extramural support for research.
