Responsibilities
- Partner with physicians, clinical leaders, and staff to evaluate the quality of clinical care and identify improvement opportunities.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and action planning to resolve quality concerns and prevent recurrence of system issues.
- Monitor, measure, and analyze quality indicators and other data to identify clinical risk management opportunities.
- Translate data into practical, unit-level improvement strategies that support timely action and accountability.
- Coach and support frontline teams in closing performance gaps and sustaining quality improvements.
- Initiate and facilitate changes that reduce institutional risk, support regulatory compliance, and improve patient care outcomes.
- Support multiple units or service lines to ensure consistent quality engagement and progress toward organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Education: BSN or graduation from an accredited Nursing program with a Bachelors degree in a related field. Master's degree in related field preferred.
- Experience: 5 years work experience as an RN.
- Licenses/Certifications: RN license in Iowa. Certification in Heatlhcare Quality or Healthcare Risk Management preferred.
Pay
Commensurate with experience.
