About the Role

Join our team as a day shift, full-time Nursing Manager for the Orthopedic and Post-Surgical Unit in Tulsa, OK. This role oversees a well-established 32-bed Med Surg unit with approximately 49 FTEs, supporting a strong team of experienced nurses and caregivers serving orthopedic and surgical patients. The ideal leader will focus on patient experience, team development, operational excellence, and fostering a highly engaged culture of care.

The Nurse Manager will promote the mission and values of the organization, advocate for quality patient care and excellent customer service, and ensure efficient healthcare delivery. As a member of the management team, you will be involved in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning, and program development.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school (required; enrolled in an accredited BSN program with a scheduled completion date is acceptable).
  • Current RN license or a license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
  • ACLS must be obtained within 2 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of Medical Surgical (Med Surg) nursing experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of leadership experience (e.g., Charge Nurse, Supervisor, Team Lead, or similar roles).
  • Orthopedic nursing experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop clinical teams.
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and relationship-building skills.
  • Commitment to patient experience and quality outcomes.
