Lovelace Women’s Hospital is a 53-bed facility featuring an advanced neonatal intensive care unit, family care unit, an award-winning breast care center, and the state’s first robotic surgery program, recognized as a Center of Excellence in Robotic Surgery by Surgical Review Corporation.

Responsibilities

  • Promote the mission and values of the organization and advocate for quality patient care, excellent customer service, and efficient healthcare delivery.
  • Participate in system planning, budgeting, manpower planning, and program development to ensure efficient, effective, and quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s in Nursing from an accredited school required. If applicant does not have a BSN, must be enrolled in an accredited BSN program with a scheduled completion date (effective 9/1/19).
  • Current RN license or a license deemed acceptable by the applicable State Board of Nursing.
  • BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care; maintains current BLS.
  • Facility/unit-specific certification as required.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3-5 years’ clinical nursing experience in area of specialty (preferred).
