About The Role

Your clinical experience is more valuable than you know — especially to AI. We're looking for Nursing Informatics Specialists to help evaluate and improve AI systems designed for healthcare environments. You'll bring your frontline nursing knowledge and health IT expertise to help train AI models that understand clinical workflows, EHR documentation, and real-world patient care contexts. This is a unique opportunity to step beyond the bedside and directly influence how AI understands healthcare — without leaving your home.

What You'll Do

  • Evaluate AI-generated clinical content, documentation, and workflows for accuracy, safety, and real-world applicability
  • Identify gaps or errors in how AI represents nursing practice, EHR processes, or patient care scenarios
  • Translate nursing workflows and clinical knowledge into structured, actionable feedback for AI development teams
  • Review and annotate clinical datasets, flagging inconsistencies or areas where AI responses fall short of clinical standards
  • Provide expert insight on EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner) and how AI tools can better support clinical documentation
  • Work independently and asynchronously on your own schedule

Who You Are

  • Registered Nurse (RN) or equivalent clinical background with experience in informatics or health IT
  • Hands-on experience with EHR systems and clinical documentation workflows
  • Strong ability to analyze clinical scenarios and translate insights into clear, structured feedback
  • Detail-oriented with the ability to evaluate content critically and consistently
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, task-based environment
  • No prior AI experience required — your clinical expertise is what matters
  • Nice to have: Prior experience in clinical informatics, health IT implementation, or workflow optimization
  • Familiarity with data annotation, data quality review, or evaluation frameworks
  • Experience training or supporting clinical staff on EHR systems
  • Background in quality improvement or patient safety initiatives

Why Join Us

  • Work on cutting-edge AI projects with leading research labs and AI teams
  • Fully remote and flexible — work on your own schedule, as much or as little as you want
  • Freelance autonomy: no shift work, no commute, no hospital politics
  • Contribute to meaningful work that shapes how AI supports nurses and patients worldwide
  • Collaborate with a global network of healthcare and technology professionals
  • Potential for ongoing work and contract extension
