Nursing - ICU
Travel ICU RN needed for a 13-week assignment starting ASAP in a Vermont facility. 36 guaranteed hours per week, with 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM shifts.
About the Role
Provides quality nursing care for patients requiring an intensive care setting during hospitalization in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). Care is reflective of AACN Standards and delivered in a professional manner appropriate to the patient’s age, physical ability, and intellectual development.
The nurse demonstrates proficiency in delivering treatment and adapting care to meet the needs of one or more of the following patient populations: pediatric-adolescent, adult, and geriatric.
The Registered Nurse (RN) in ICU is familiar with ICU Structure Standards and adheres to ICU-specific procedures and protocols.
Responsibilities
- Perform excellent patient assessments using technical, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare team members to coordinate patient care, advocacy, and education
Requirements
- ACLS certification
- BLS certification
