About the Role
Polaris Rehabilitation & Care Center is seeking a dynamic, experienced, and results-driven Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) to lead and oversee all aspects of facility operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide overall leadership and direction for facility operations, ensuring exceptional resident care and operational excellence
- Maintain compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations, including CMS requirements and survey readiness standards
- Lead Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) initiatives to drive clinical and operational success
- Develop, monitor, and manage facility budgets to ensure financial sustainability and operational efficiency
- Analyze financial performance, labor utilization, census trends, and reimbursement opportunities
- Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing department leaders and staff members
- Foster a positive workplace culture focused on employee engagement, accountability, and professional development
- Partner with clinical leadership to ensure residents receive individualized, high-quality care that promotes positive outcomes
- Oversee staffing, workforce planning, employee relations, and leadership development initiatives
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, referral sources, physicians, hospitals, and community partners
- Address resident and family concerns promptly and professionally while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction
- Support admissions, census development, and community outreach efforts
- Ensure facility preparedness for regulatory surveys, audits, and compliance reviews
- Collaborate with regional leadership to achieve organizational goals and strategic initiatives
- Represent the facility professionally within the local healthcare community and maintain a positive public image
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, Business Administration, or a related field required
- Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, Public Health, or related field preferred
- Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in the State of Wyoming
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of healthcare leadership experience, preferably within a skilled nursing or long-term care setting
- Strong knowledge of CMS regulations, state regulations, reimbursement systems, survey processes, and healthcare compliance standards
- Proven experience managing budgets, financial performance, labor management, and operational metrics
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary teams and driving organizational performance
- Exceptional communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
- Able to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced healthcare environment
- Passion for serving seniors and improving resident quality of life
