NURSING HOME ADMINISTRATOR
About the role
Manage the daily operation of the nursing home
Ensure rights and responsibilities for residents
Maintain financial operation of the facility
Ensure compliance with all HR policies and procedures
Ensure that all Federal and State regulations are followed
Participate in community affairs and professional organizations
Communicates within the organization
Assumes responsibility for good communication with residents
Responsibilities
- Must be a graduate of an accredited school of nursing, business, or have a related healthcare management degree
- Must have a minimum of two years of experience as an administrator in a hospital, long term care facility, or other related health care facility
- Current Nursing Home Administrator license
- Be able to move intermittently throughout the workday, be in good general health, demonstrate emotional stability and be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
