Nursing Faculty

About the role

College of Saint Mary (CSM) invites applications for full-time Nursing Faculty positions to join their exceptional team. Positions include Practical Nursing Faculty, Nursing Faculty (BSN), and BSN Nursing Faculty.

Responsibilities

• Teach 30 credit hours annually in the Practical Nursing program (for Practical Nursing Faculty)
• Teach 30 credit hours annually across the Practical Nursing and Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) programs (for Nursing Faculty - BSN)
• Teach 24 credit hours per academic year in the BSN program (for BSN Nursing Faculty)

Requirements

• Master’s prepared nurse with a passion for educating the next generation of nurses
• Adult medical-surgical nursing expertise
• Additional experience in women’s health, pediatrics, and/or psychiatric/mental health nursing preferred (for Practical Nursing Faculty)
• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or current enrollment in an MSN program is required (for all positions)
• Current, unencumbered Nebraska nursing license (for all positions)
• Commitment to pursuing a doctoral degree (for BSN Nursing Faculty)

Qualifications

• Strong commitment to student success and teaching in a mission-driven, student-centered environment
• Ability to teach in multiple nursing programs
• Experience in adult medical-surgical nursing and related specialties (for Practical Nursing Faculty)
• Doctoral degree in nursing preferred (for BSN Nursing Faculty)

Salary is commensurate with experience.

Schedule

Start dates are May 2026 for Practical Nursing Faculty and BSN Nursing Faculty, and August 2026 for Nursing Faculty (BSN).
