About the role
Azarian College of Nursing seeks a dynamic and experienced Core Nursing Faculty member to join our team. This position is responsible for teaching and evaluating students in both didactic and clinical settings, contributing to the educational mission of the college.
Responsibilities
- Teach at least 36 credits annually and design an effective learning environment to facilitate student learning.
- Evaluate student learning using various assessment tools.
- Lead simulation learning experiences in the Nursing Lab.
- Oversee clinical adjuncts, facilitate clinical practice, and communicate with clinical agencies.
- Develop and implement the nursing education program's philosophy and objectives.
- Evaluate and revise the curriculum and maintain student records.
- Mentor students, advise them, and develop success plans.
- Connect students to college resources and provide input on program policies.
- Participate in faculty meetings and other nursing events.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in nursing (DNP preferred), or Bachelor’s degree in nursing with a graduate degree in a related field.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ work experience as a professional registered nurse.
- Previous teaching experience in a nursing program.
- Current unencumbered state professional registered nurse license or enhanced compact nurse licensure.
- Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in a nursing specialty.

Pay
$93,000 - $95,000 USD commensurate with experience, education, and relatable skills.
