Responsibilities
- Teach and evaluate students in the classroom, designing an effective learning environment that addresses contemporary issues in nursing.
- Facilitate clinical instruction and grading of clinical adjuncts, ensuring students apply theoretical knowledge to practical settings.
- Communicate effectively with clinical agencies, staff, faculty, and students, identifying and addressing clinical concerns.
- Maintain and update student records, including progress reports and evaluations.
- Participate in curriculum development, program evaluation, and policy development, contributing to the continuous improvement of the nursing education program.
- Provide input to program policies and participate in faculty meetings and in-service offerings.
Requirements
- Graduate degree in nursing or related field from an accredited institution.
- Minimum of three (3) years' work experience as a professional registered nurse.
- Current unencumbered state professional registered nurse license or enhanced compact nurse licensure.
- Certified Nurse Educator certification and national certification in a nursing specialty.
Qualifications
- Experience teaching in a registered nursing program at a college or university.
- Ability to maintain professional competence through ongoing education and participation in professional organizations.

Pay
$95,000 - $98,000 USD base annual salary, commensurate with experience, education, and related skills.
Schedule
Flexible schedule to accommodate both clinical and didactic teaching responsibilities.
