Nursing Faculty (Adjunct & Full-Time) - Bench Team Opportunities!
About the role
Rasmussen University is seeking to build a bench team for our Nursing programs at all Kansas campus locations. Applications are welcome for future Full-Time and Part-Time/Adjunct positions.
Responsibilities
Full-Time Instructor Responsibilities: Teach courses in various modalities, promote and support Rasmussen University's vision and mission. Generally teach 4.5-5.5 work units each quarter.
Adjunct Instructor Responsibilities: Teach lecture, laboratory, and/or clinical practicum courses as assigned. Schedules vary based on location.
Requirements
A Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) is required for Full-Time roles. A BSN may be acceptable in certain locations for Part-Time/Adjunct roles.
Active RN license with no encumbrances. Active CPR certification from either the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross.
1-year clinical experience as an RN required, 2+ years preferred. Previous teaching/training experience preferred.
Self-motivated, flexible, and able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision. Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
Qualifications
Proof of professional licenses/certifications, official transcripts for each degree earned from an accredited institution, and applicable faculty immunization documentation required.
Benefits & Compensation
Rasmussen University offers a competitive compensation and benefits program. For Full-Time Instructor roles, a reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,400.00 to $93,700.00. For Part-Time/Adjunct roles, a reasonable estimate of the current range is $38.00 to $60.00 per hour. Individual starting pay is determined based on job and level hired into, location, skill set, experience, and training.
