Nursing Faculty (Adjunct & Full-Time) - Bench Team Opportunities!
About the role
Rasmussen University is seeking adjunct and full-time instructors for its Nursing programs across Illinois campus locations. Applications are kept on file for future consideration.
Responsibilities
- Full-Time Instructor: Teach courses in various modalities, promote and support Rasmussen University's vision and mission, typically teaching 4.5-5.5 work units each quarter.
- Adjunct Instructor: Teach lecture, laboratory, and/or clinical practicum courses as assigned, part-time role, generally teaching 1-2 work units each quarter.
Requirements
- A Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) is required for Full-Time roles, BSN may be acceptable for Part-Time/Adjunct roles in certain locations.
- Active RN license with no encumbrances, Active CPR certification from either the American Heart Association or The American Red Cross.
- One year clinical experience as an RN required, two years preferred, previous teaching/training experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Master’s degree in nursing (MSN) for Full-Time roles.
- Bachelor of Science in nursing (BSN) may be acceptable in certain locations for Part-Time/Adjunct roles.

- Self-motivated, flexible, able to work in a team environment with minimal supervision.
- Excellent interpersonal communication, presentation, and leadership abilities.
Benefits & Compensation
Rasmussen University offers a competitive compensation and benefits program. For Full-Time Instructor roles, a reasonable estimate of the current range is $69,400.00 to $93,700.00. For Part-Time/Adjunct roles, a reasonable estimate of the current range is $38.00 to $60.00 per hour. Individual starting pay is determined based on job and level hired into, location, skill set, experience, and training, among other factors.
