About the role
Jersey College is seeking Registered Nurse Instructors to join our dedicated team of educators. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a commitment to fostering the success of their students.
Responsibilities
- Provide clinical instruction at long-term care, sub-acute, and acute care facilities.
- Create a supportive and engaging clinical environment that promotes students' academic growth and professional development.
- Prepare and submit student progress reports and grade reports.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date attendance records.
- Evaluate student competence based on program philosophy and objectives.
- Implement evaluation devices to measure student learning and clinical experience.
- Attend faculty meetings and participate in professional development activities.
- Maintain professional qualifications as a Registered Nurse Instructor through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) from an accredited institution.
- Current valid State RN license.
- Minimum of 3 years recent experience as a Registered Nurse.
- Prior teaching experience is preferred but not required.

- Ability to create and maintain positive relationships with students and colleagues.
- Motivated, self-directed, and team-oriented approach.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
- Ability to effectively supervise students in the clinical setting.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the area of nursing specialty.
- Relevant experience as a Registered Nurse that contributes to student learning.
Skills
- Ability to deliver effective lessons on the level of an RN or PN student.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the area of nursing specialty.
- Ability to organize and prioritize workflow.
- Ability to supervise students in the clinical environment.
- Knowledgeable and experienced in the area of nursing specialty.

Pay
The salary range for this position is $60,000 - $70,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
Schedule
This is a full-time position, Monday through Friday.
