Nursing Education Leader

Role Overview: This position is a strategic leader responsible for hospital-wide nursing professional development, focusing on advancing clinical education to improve patient care and outcomes. Key Responsibilities Support and promote lifelong learning, evidence-based practice, and competency development based on the ANPD NPD model.Mentor and guide unit-based educators, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and professional standards.Facilitate, support, and evaluate unit education efforts through coaching and collaboration, without directly delivering education.Foster interprofessional collaboration, guide change initiatives, and support role transitions.Drive educational strategies informed by data and organizational needs. Qualifications & Skills Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing required; Master’s preferred.Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience in hospital or clinical settings.Experience in nursing education, staff development, or clinical leadership preferred.Active RN license and multistate licensure required.Certification in Nursing Professional Development (NPC-BC) within 2 years and membership in ANPD required.Advanced certification in specialty area preferred.
