Nursing Director, Long Term Care, HMH - Full time

About the role

The Nursing Director, Long-Term Care, WAR Memorial Hospital (WAR) assists with the development of goals, standards of performance, and policies and procedures for the Long-Term Care unit. The Nursing Director establishes objectives for the Long-Term Care Unit, and the organizational structure for achieving these objectives.

Responsibilities

• Aids in the development of goals, standards of performance, and policies and procedures for the Long-Term Care unit.
• Establishes objectives for the Long-Term Care Unit, and the organizational structure for achieving these objectives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Nursing (BSN) is required.
• Graduate of a school of nursing is required.
• Five (5) or more years management experience is required.
• Five (5) or more years nursing home/long-term care setting is required.
• A registered nurse in the state of West Virginia is required.
• CPR-certified and up-to-date annually is required.
• BLS Certification (Basic Life Support) - American Heart 'Healthcare Provider' (HCP) - AHA approved required.
