About the role
The Nursing Clinic Manager oversees the day-to-day operations of clinical support staff and multidisciplinary services, collaborating with the Site Medical Director.
Responsibilities
- Execute daily management systems to enhance nursing practice, clinic operation, and patient flow.
- Support provider practice and patient care to ensure optimal performance, efficiency, and service excellence.
- Recruit, hire, supervise, develop, assess competencies, and evaluate non-LIP clinical staff in collaboration with HR.
- Manage timecards and coordinate PTO requests for staff.
- Create and maintain staffing schedules to optimize resource utilization.
- Supervise clinic workflow and provide clinical assistance as needed.
- Maintain clinic inventory of medical supplies and biologics.
- Ensure compliance with safety/infection control activities and documentation.
- Provide staffing support and backfill coverage at other MCC locations as needed.
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations including HRSA, FQHC, OSHA, HIPAA, CMS, FTCA, and state regulations.
Qualifications
- Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Current licensure as Registered Nurse in Minnesota
- BLS certification
- Minimum of 5 years in an ambulatory primary care setting, FQHC, or community clinic
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in an ambulatory primary care setting, FQHC, or community clinic
- Bilingual in language(s) of target population: English/Spanish, English/Hmong, English/Somali, preferred
