Job Summary
This position may qualify for a sign‑on bonus. Under the direction/supervision of an RN, you will provide basic nursing care for an assigned group of patients across a variety of units, including General Nursing Units, Special Care Areas, Maternal‑Child Units, GI Lab Unit, Chemical Dependent and Psychiatric Units, Emergency Unit, and Surgical Services. You will complete established competencies for the position within the designated introductory period and perform other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: High School Graduate or equivalent
- Preferred Education: Completion of a Nurse Assistant, EMT, Paramedic, or Medical Assisting course
- Preferred Experience: 6 months in the healthcare industry and/or knowledge of basic medical terms and procedures
- Required Courses/Certifications: BLS obtained through an approved American Heart Association Training Center or the Military Training Network; Non‑Violent Crisis Intervention obtained within 60 days of hire or transfer to the position
