Nursing Assistant Telemetry
About the role
As our Nursing Assistant (NA), you will perform essential direct patient care, working under the guidance and direction of a Registered Nurse, often while actively pursuing your Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification. You will provide comprehensive patient care, support the nursing unit's operational needs, and collaborate within the nursing team to ensure optimal patient well-being and a supportive care environment.
Responsibilities
- Provide basic patient care, including bathing, oral care, feeding, ambulation, and monitoring vital signs.
- Perform patient hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, oral and perineal care, and back rubs.
- Measure and document vital signs, weights, and intake/output (I&O) accurately and within expected time frames.
- Ambulate, lift, move, and transport patients within specified time frames.
- Position patients and perform range-of-motion exercises.
- Document patient care accurately on designated forms or in the computer system.
- Stock patient care supplies before the end of each shift.
- Assist with inventory, documentation, clerical tasks, dietary assistance, light housekeeping, and computer input.
Requirements
- High School GED or High School Graduate.
- Successful completion of a Certified Nursing Assistant program.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CA CNA) certification upon hire.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification upon hire.
Preferred: Six (6) months of recent hospital experience as a CNA.

Pay
$25.00 - $29.50 per hour.
