Minimum Requirements
- Must be a registered nurse licensed and able to currently practice in the state of Maryland, with a minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience, at least one (1) year of that experience in caring for the elderly or chronically ill (long-term care experience) in the past five (5) years.
- Minimum of sixteen (16) hours of course instruction in Principles of Adult Education OR two (2) years nursing related teaching experience.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills, have excellent organizational skills with an ability to attend to details and multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid driver's license with less than five points on a driving record is required as instructors must travel to off-campus sites and clinical settings.

Pay rates for non-credit courses in Continuing Education are commensurate with education and experience qualifications. Please see salary scales posted on our website.
