Nursing Assistant - PRN

About the role

Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing housing and services to seniors with a focus on quality care in a Christian environment. The Nursing Assistant (NA) delivers resident-centered nursing care in a long-term care setting under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and providing psychosocial support
• Recording vital signs
• Aiding with transfers, repositioning, and range of motion exercises
• Supporting meal and snack services
• Documenting resident interactions
• Communicating changes to nursing staff
• Collecting specimens
• Supporting housekeeping, laundry, and recreational programs

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Minimum age 16
• Current CNA certification or enrolled in certification training
• Successful completion of competency testing
• Ongoing continuing education (minimum 12 hours annually)
• If applicable, registration with UAP Registry and valid driver’s license for Driver classification
