Nursing Assistant (NA) - Full-time Dayshift

About the role

Critical Illness Recovery Hospital, located at the 6th floor of Bronson Battle Creek Hospital, Battle Creek, Michigan, is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Qualifications

• Preferred qualifications include hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (i.e. medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)

Pay

Up to $24.24 per hour, based on experience ($2.00 shift differentials for nights and $1.75 for weekends)

Schedule

Full Time Dayshift Hours: 7:00 pm - 7:00 am
