Nursing Assistant (NA) - Full-time Days

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Nursing Assistants (NA) are integral in delivering compassionate care throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers, assisting transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience as a nursing assistant or certification as a nursing assistant.
• Experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant).
• Actively enrolled RN student.

• Strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients.

Pay

$18.00 to $21.94 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Three 12-hour shifts per week (7am to 7pm).

Sign-On Bonus

$2,500.00 sign-on bonus offered.
