Nursing Assistant (NA) - Full-time Days

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Nursing Assistants (NA) are integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers, assisting transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Relevant work experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience as a nursing assistant or certification as a nursing assistant.
• Experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant).
• Actively enrolled RN student.

• Strong communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift and move patients.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay

• $19.70 - $24.00 per hour, based on years of experience.
• Plus shift differentials for weekends.
• Sign-On Bonus: $1,500.

Schedule

• Full-Time Day Shift, 12-hour shifts.
