Nursing Assistant (NA) - Full-time Days

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital-Tulsa is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Nursing Assistants (NA) are integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers, assisting transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire
• Preferred: Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)

Pay

$20.00-$24.38 per hour plus shift differential for weekends
