Nursing Assistant (NA) - Full-time Days

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital - Midtown Atlanta is a critical illness recovery hospital committed to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronic, critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Nursing Assistants (NA) play a central role in providing compassionate, excellent care every step of the way.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and care of hair
• Participate in hourly rounds
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers when necessary, and assist transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs
• Keep patients’ rooms in clean and orderly condition
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED OR relevant work experience (3+ years)
• BLS is required within 90 days of hire

Preferred Qualifications

• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant
• Certification as a nursing assistant
• Experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student)

Pay

Starting at $19.70 per hour with a $1,000 sign-on bonus.

Schedule

Full-Time Days - 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
