Nursing Assistant (NA) - Full Time Day Shift

About the role

Select Specialty Hospital - Cincinnati Downtown is a critical illness recovery hospital dedicated to providing world-class inpatient post-ICU services to chronically ill patients. Nursing Assistants (NA) are integral in delivering compassionate, high-quality care throughout the recovery process.

Responsibilities

• Perform services for patients including bathing, oral hygiene, oral feeding, and hair care using basin-less bath products.
• Participate in hourly patient rounds.
• Transport patients to and from various treatment centers, assisting transporters in moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain the cleanliness of various instruments and equipment such as bedpans, urinals, and wheelchairs.
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High school diploma/GED or relevant work experience (3+ years).
• BLS certification within 90 days of hire.
• Preferred: Hospital experience as a nursing assistant, certification as a nursing assistant, or experience in a related field (e.g., medical assistant, actively enrolled RN student).

Pay

• $19.64 to $26.44 per hour, based on experience.

Schedule

• Full-time - 12-hour shifts - Day shift 7:00a-7:00p.
