Nursing Assistant (NA)

About the role

Our Inpatient Rehabilitation Hospital is dedicated to providing exceptional and compassionate care to individuals with a variety of medical conditions, including brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputations, and multiple traumas.

Responsibilities

• Assisting patients with personal and daily care, such as bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
• Delivering meals and snacks, feeding patients who are unable to feed themselves and documenting oral intake, including supplements.
• Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility programs.
• Answering patient call lights and performing services that enhance the physical well-being of the patient.
• Transporting patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.

Requirements

• Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Hospital experience and/or certification as a nursing assistant preferred (state requirements may vary).

Qualifications

• Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferred qualifications include hospital experience and/or certification as a nursing assistant.

Skills

• Strong communication skills.
• Physical stamina and ability to perform physically demanding tasks.
• Ability to follow safety protocols and procedures.

Pay

• $19-$24.10 based on years of experience plus additional benefits.

Schedule

• Full-time, 12-hour shifts.
• Day or night shifts available.
• Every 3rd weekend.

Sign-On Bonus

• $3,500 sign-on bonus offered.
