Nursing Assistant (NA)
About the role
SSM Health Rehabilitation Hospital is a joint venture between Select Medical and SSM Health. This position is for a Nursing Assistant located in Bridgeton, MO. The schedule is full-time, rotating 12-hour shifts with weekends off every third weekend.
Responsibilities
- Obtaining vital signs, height, weight and demographic data.
- Aiding patients with personal and daily care, including bathing, oral hygiene, shaving, and hair care.
- Delivering meals and snacks, assisting with feeding patients who cannot feed themselves, and documenting oral intake.
- Turning and positioning immobile patients safely while maintaining proper body alignment; participating in mobility programs.
- Answering patient call lights and performing services to enhance the patient's physical well-being.
- Transporting patients to designated areas, such as to and from various treatment centers.
Requirements
- Certified BLS or completion within the first 90 days of employment.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Hospital experience and/or certification as a nursing assistant preferred (state requirements may vary).

Pay
$19-$24.10 per hour based on years of experience, plus additional pay for night shifts and weekends.
