Nursing Assistant Instructor (Part-time)

About the Role

This part-time faculty position involves developing and teaching nursing courses across various formats, including in-person, online, day, evening, and weekend classes.

Responsibilities

• Prepare lesson plans and manage classrooms
• Develop and revise nursing curricula
• Assess student performance and advise students
• Participate in departmental meetings
• Promote recruitment and retention efforts
• Maintain current nursing knowledge and collaborate with industry partners
• Support student activities

Requirements

• Associate's degree or higher in Nursing
• Valid unencumbered Wisconsin RN license
• Two years of RN experience, with at least one year in a long-term care setting
• Ability to pass health screenings and lift 50 pounds

Qualifications (Preferred)

• Teaching experience
• Familiarity with instructional technology and learning management systems
• Industry certifications in adult education or nurse aide instruction
• Effective communication and cultural competence
• Commitment to teaching excellence
• Proficiency in relevant software

Pay

Compensation starts at $40 per course hour, with additional pay for preparation and office hours.
