About the role
The Nursing Assistant (CNA) at UnityPoint Health performs basic nursing assistant procedures as taught during their outside training and certification program. They are responsible for practicing medical asepsis, respecting patient dignity and privacy, maintaining objectivity, adhering to hospital safety policies, and working within their scope of training.
Responsibilities
- Works under the close supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Receives specific work assignments, both written and oral
- Completes assigned tasks within scheduled shift
Requirements
- State of Wisconsin certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- CPR certified or eligible for certification
- Available the first week of employment from 8AM - 4:30PM for CNA orientation
