About the role
The Nursing Assistant (CNA) performs basic nursing assistant procedures as taught during their outside training and certification program. Responsibilities include practicing medical asepsis, respecting patient dignity and privacy, maintaining objectivity during care, adhering to hospital safety policies, and working within their scope of training under the close supervision of a Registered Nurse. Work assignments are provided both in writing and orally, with the expectation to complete them within the scheduled shift.
Requirements
- State of Wisconsin certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA)
- Current CPR certification or eligibility for certification
- Must be available the first week of employment from 8 AM – 4:30 PM for CNA orientation
