Nursing Assistant Full-time Day
About the role
The Nurse Assistant (NA) is a non-licensed health care employee who performs delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks/duties under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse (RN). These duties may include EKGs, vital signs, basic patient care, and transportation. The role involves responding appropriately to patients and families with knowledge of age-specific needs based on the scope of service of the unit/department where assigned.
Responsibilities
- Perform delegated routine and predictable patient care tasks, such as EKGs and vital signs.
- Provide basic patient care and transportation.
- Respond appropriately to patients and families, considering age-specific needs.
Requirements
Coursework/Training:
- Graduate of any accredited Certified Nursing Assistant program, or Nursing Assistant program, or completion of 2nd semester of accredited Nursing Program.
- Graduate of any accredited Nursing Assistant program.
- Demonstrated equivalency (such as experience as a corpsman, EMT, foreign-licensed RN or MD, Medical Assistant, or Caregiver).
Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association certification required.
Preferred Qualifications
- 1 year of previous Nurse Assistant or Certified Nursing Assistant experience in a hospital or post-acute environment.

Pay
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $33.78 per hour. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range will be determined based on relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts reflect base pay; additional compensation may be available.

Full time, Day shift.
