Nursing Assistant - Emergency Services
About the role
This position is accountable to the bedside RN and charge nurse to facilitate a safe and secure environment for the patient, family and providers in the department. Duties include maintaining a safe, hazard-free, clean environment that supports patient-focused care.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients, families, and staff.
- Communicate effectively with RNs and charge nurses to ensure patient needs are met.
- Support the nursing team in providing high-quality care to patients.
Requirements
- Completion of Medical Terminology Course or successful completion of hospital Medical terminology test within 90 days of hire.
- National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
- 6 months Health care experience preferred.

Pay
The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors. These amounts are the base pay range; additional compensation may be available for this role, such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
