Nursing Assistant-D5-Oncology -DAYS/AFTERNOONS

About the role

Munson Healthcare is seeking a Nursing Assistant to join our team in the Oncology department. This position is full-time, with shifts available either during the day or in the afternoon.

Responsibilities

• Performing basic patient care needs and services essential to caring for the patients' personal and comfort needs
• Completing personal hygiene tasks
• Collecting specimens as needed
• Assisting patients with daily walking and exercise
• Transporting patients between departments as necessary
• Observing, reporting, and recording vital signs of the patient

Qualifications

• Obtain/Maintain CPR certification in adult maneuvers (child and infant may be required by some departments) at all times
• May be required to lift more than 35 pounds
• A high school diploma or GED equivalent is preferred
