Nursing Assistant - Coronary Care Unit

About the Role

Assist in providing compassionate, patient-centered care in a high-acuity Coronary Care Unit under the supervision of registered nurses. The Care Partner promotes a positive patient experience, ensures safety, maintains confidentiality, and supports team initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with healthcare team to deliver safe, respectful, and culturally aware care.
• Assist with activities of daily living, vital signs, and patient comfort measures.
• Support clinical procedures, including advanced skills such as phlebotomy and dressing changes as authorized.
• Perform clerical tasks like data retrieval, supply management, and medication transport.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members, ensuring timely documentation and safety protocols.
• Maintain infection control standards and a safe environment through proper hygiene and equipment handling.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
