Nursing Assistant/CNA (full-time/part-time)

About the role

The Boston Home is a 96-bed community for adults with multiple sclerosis and other advanced neurological disorders. The population is younger and more stable than many care facilities, with residents often joining in mid-life and residing for 20+ years. Nursing Assistants have the opportunity to develop meaningful relationships with the residents they care for.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care assistance to residents under the direction of the Staff Nurse
• Assist with residents' meals
• Transfer residents using appropriate assistive devices
• Assist with bathing, toileting, dressing, and grooming
• Interact with residents and families on a daily basis
• Use customer service skills to ensure residents have an exceptional experience
