Nursing Assistant, Certified - FT Evening

About the role

Join a not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing over 100 years of quality senior housing and services in a Christian environment. Serve as a caregiver in long-term care, providing resident-centered nursing care and daily living assistance under RN supervision.

Responsibilities

• Assist residents with activities such as bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and vital signs recording.
• Support residents with transfers, repositioning, walking, and range of motion exercises.
• Help with meals, snacks, and creating positive dining experiences.
• Document care, monitor resident condition, and communicate changes to nursing staff.
• Collect specimens, provide psychosocial support, and assist with housekeeping, laundry, and recreational activities.
• Follow infection control policies and use PPE appropriately.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred; minimum age of 16.
• Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required or in progress, with training provided if needed.
• Ability to complete annual competency tests and continuing education (minimum 12 hours yearly).
• Knowledge of infection prevention, resident care, and basic healthcare procedures.
• Effective communication skills and teamwork abilities.

Additional Requirements

Depending on responsibilities, may require a valid driver’s license and medical clearance for driving.
