Responsibilities
- Assisting residents with bathing, toileting, grooming, dressing, and vital signs.
- Supporting psychosocial needs and personal care.
- Helping with transfers, repositioning, walking, and range of motion exercises.
- Preparing and assisting with meals, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Documenting resident interactions and communicating changes to nursing staff.
- Collecting specimens and providing housekeeping, laundry, and recreational support.
- Participating in departmental tasks and committees as needed.
Qualifications
- A high school diploma or GED is preferred; minimum age 16.
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification is required; training will be provided if needed.
- Completion of annual competency testing and ongoing education (minimum 12 hours/year).
- State certification and registration, with additional licensing if applicable.
- Ability to perform essential duties, including possible driving responsibilities, with valid license and medical clearance.
