Nursing Assistant
Performs basic patient care under supervision of the Registered Nurse and maintains the patient care and unit environment consistent with the policies, procedures and practices of the Nursing Division and United Health Services. Promotes a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care.
About the role
This is a per diem position in the Emergency Department at UHS Wilson Medical Center, meaning you will work on an as-needed, agreed-upon basis. Working hours will be assigned by your manager.
Responsibilities
- Perform basic patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse
- Maintain the patient care and unit environment in accordance with Nursing Division policies and procedures
- Promote a caring and healing environment for patient-centered care
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a Nurse’s Aide program
- Previous hospital or health care experience (preferred)
Qualifications
- Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification (preferred)
Pay
$19.37 - $28.09 per hour, depending on experience
