Nursing Assistant – 5 North - Med/Surg – FT - Nights

Responsibilities

• Monitor blood pressure and temperature of patients
• Ensure the delivery of meals and safe transport
• Provide comfort and caring as a certified nursing assistant
• Infuse energy and hospitality into a patient's day
• Perform select care duties under the supervision of a registered nurse
• Improve the patient experience and maintain a safe, clean and healthy environment
• Measure and record temperatures, pulses, respiration and blood pressure
• Demonstrate what it means to be part of a team and raise the bar for patient care

Schedule

Full time nights shift covering the hours of 11:00 pm – 7:15 pm with rotating weekends and holidays.

Preferred Criteria

• High School Diploma or GED
• One year in acute care setting preferred
• Certified long term care Nursing Assistant
• Current CPR Training from the American Heart Association (BLS)
• Previous Nurse’s aide experience in a hospital setting
• Certification from an approved accredited Nurse Aide training program
• Currently enrolled in a BSN program for nursing, at the junior year level or had completed at least one clinical practicum

Pay

Salary Range: $28.18/Hour
