Nursing Admin Coordinator
Provides clerical and secretarial support to the Nurse Managers at Northwest Hospital, a full-service community hospital in Baltimore County serving Randallstown, Pikesville, Owings Mills, and surrounding areas. Part of LifeBridge Health, a comprehensive healthcare system with a mission to improve community health.
Responsibilities
- Facilitates Department of Nursing staffing by utilizing and identifying available nursing resources, under the direction of Nursing Management, based upon unit needs and staff/census fluctuations to maintain cost-effective staffing patterns.
- Supports Nursing Management in maintaining accurate demographic, skill, and scheduling information on all nursing employees in a computerized scheduling system.
- Maintains and keeps confidential departmental employee files.
- Provides administrative support to the Nursing Management Team as appropriate and as available.
- Responsible for payroll.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1-3 years of related experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
- Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills.
Pay
$21.06 to $31.59 per hour, based on experience.
